Case Study: Evolution Media

Situation

Evolution Media, a growth-stage investment company and full-service advisory firm, launched an annual conference for the CEOs of their investment businesses and industry elites. RLM was retained to handle full-scale design and production of the one day conference, branded items, transportation, pre-conference dinner, and after party.

Strategy

The goal was to reimagine the traditional conference and create a new experience for a group that attends many different conferences and events. From choosing a unique, privately owned former air force bunker in the Hollywood Hills as the venue to curating a seating arrangement that felt like an intimate gathering in your living room, each detail served a purpose. We aimed to both take attendees out of their day to day and create a level of comfort that allowed guests and speakers alike the space to connect and engage. By taking an approach that centered on the environment design and less on brand name or integration, the focus was placed on creating the space for important thoughtful conversations to happen.
